The countryside of Buckinghamshire & Hertfordshire is blessed with many splendid venues that can be the perfect location for your wedding. We have reviewed 10 venues in both Bucks and Herts, see below for more info:

Please note – not all of these venues are vintage bus friendly! Some venues either have low trees or a tall iron gate upon the entrance. If this is the case the venue is not accessible by a double decker (e.g. a London Routemaster!). We do have a vintage London single decker bus to get to the less accessible venues but tight corners and narrow lanes can still prevent our tough little bus from entering the venue. Stowe House – Stowe, Buckinghamshire

The scale and beauty of Stowe have attracted visitors within the bucks area for over 300 years. Chartridge Lodge – Chesham, Buckinghamshire

Set in 25 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds in Chesham, Chartridge Lodge offers a peaceful retreat while just a 5 minute drive from the centre of Chesham in Buckinghamshire. Originally a private house dating from the beginning of the last century, the Lodge was transformed in the 1960’s when it became the dedicated training centre for the British Overseas Airlines Corporation, a forerunner of British Airways. Waddesdon Manor – Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Huntsmill Farm have a large capacity garden and grounds, in a lovely peaceful  buckscountryside location. Ample space is available on site, making it the perfect location for a private reception (perfect for the wedding day celebrations). The owners of Hunstmill Farm are experience in facilitating wedding and are happy to help with anything  due to their extensive list of Buckinghamshire wedding suppliers. The best thing about having a wedding at Huntsmill farm is that we there are no neighbours so you can really make the event your own with very little restrictions without disturbing any local bucks neighbors!

Taplow House Hotel – Berry Hill, Taplow, Buckinghamshire

Burnham Beeches Hotel – Burnham, Buckinghamshire

Burnham Beeches Hotel, originally built in 1727, as a hunting lodge in what was then part of Windsor Park, the house afforded rest to the Royal hunting parties before resuming the chase. In 1737 the English Poet, Thomas Gray, visited his uncle who owned the house and was inspired to write his “Elegy in a Country Churchyard”. Later, the house, known as Cant’s Hill, became the property of the Clifton Brown family, famous for their association with the Palace of Westminster. Today it’s an elegant four star hotel ideally located in 10 acres of beautiful gardens and manicured lawns in a peaceful setting yet only minutes from the M4/M40, Burnham railway station and Windsor town centre. The hotel has recently undergone a Laura Ashley refurbishment of all of our standard double bedrooms. Pendley Manor – Tring, Hertfordshire

Knebworth House – Stevenage, Hertfordshire

Knebworth House is a memorable setting for your wedding breakfast, civil marriage ceremony and reception. Originally built in 1625 Letchworth Hall, has always played an important role in this corner of Hertfordshire.
